Robinho will one way or the other play in South Africa this summer.

Manchester City has accepted to participate in the upcoming Vodacom Challenge from July 18 to July 25 playing against South Africa's two biggest clubs Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs. Last year it was City's local rivals Manchester United who particpated in the tournament.

Prior to that Robinho is expected to play for Brazil in the FIFA Confederations Cup next month, where the Copa America winners play in Bloemfontein and Pretoria against Egypt, United States and world champions Italy.

Brazil with Robinho won the Confederations Cup the last time it was held in 2005.
