Robinho on Saturday scored for the third consecutive match in a row as City beated Blackburn 3-1.
The Brazilian striker is now in third place on Premier League's topscorers list with 14, two less than Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka and three less than Cristiano Ronaldo.
All manchester City's goal at The City of Manchester Stadium were scored in the first half and Robinho made the second as he executed a fine shot on Nigel De jong's pass.
With the result City remain just a point adrift of seventh-placed West Ham in the fight for a place in next seasons Europa League. Next match is on Sunday May 10 against local rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.
