Robinho: We could have played better
Brazil and Robinho struggled in the high altitude against Ecuador.
Some of the Brazilian players had to use oxygen masks before the game, and Ecuador were unlucky not to win the World Cup qualifier in Quito. But the match ended with a 1-1 draw as Julio Baptista scored for Brazil on a pass from Robinho.
"We could have played a better game, but claiming a point in a match of this type was good. We didn't pass the ball well, and it is tough when playing the ball around is our main characteristic. When we fail to do this the team plays badly," Robinho said.
On Wednesday Brazil face Peru at the Beira-Rio stadium in Porto Alegre.
