Robinho on Sunday returned from Brazil after receiving treatment for his injured ankle.

The Brazilian star spend the weekend at the Centro de Treinamento do Sïo Paulo under the guidance of physioterapist Luiz Rosan.

ïThis time spent in Sao Paulo is important for me to return well for Manchester City and help them in the next match. I thank all the physiotherapists and the president Juvenal Juvencio for opening the doors of the club to me,ï Robinho says.

Robinho will train again Monday in the expectation of being fit for Thursday's UEFA Cup last 16, first leg match against Danish side Aalborg.
