City and Robinho were denied victory by a goal in injury time, when they played against FC Copenhagen.

Manchester City were in front twice, but the UEFA Cup match on Thursday ended in a 2-2 draw as substitute Martin Vingaard equalizedfor the home side.

After the match Manager Mark Hughes was pleased with Robinhos performance - as well as Craig Bellamy and Shaun Wright-Phillips.

"They were the trigger for the level of performance we were able to produce. Our front three, Robinho, Craig and Shaun gave them a problem with their pace and ability on the ball," he said.

The return leg is played Thursday next week in Manchester.
